Child''Space Development through Play

“Babies are beautiful, and the early time of bonding between parents and children can be magical, joyous and mutually satisfying. It is during this time that babies first learn about themselves, their bodies, and people and objects around them. It is important to understand that babies do not learn in isolation. The relationship between parents/caregivers and babies provides a context in which learning can take place.”

The Child’Space Method® seeks to ensure that all of a baby’s developing systems receive the stimulation they need during the critical period from birth until independent walking. Classes engage a baby’s primary developmental pathways and empower parents with new ways to observe and interact with their children. Parents or caregivers learn to use touch and movement to support their babies’ unfolding development. Songs and activities enhance physical, cognitive and languagelearning. Family classes provide a fun way for parents/caregivers and babies to bond. (More on www.childspace.com).

Parents and caretakers will learn to:

  • help their baby enjoy tummy- time
  • soothe the symptoms of 'colic'
  • understand each developmental stage
  • learn face-to-face interactions that develop language acquisition.
